5 Year Warranty
Congratulations on your purchase of Eccentric furniture.
It has been built and finished with the finest products available. We guarantee our product for a minimum of 1 year, with solid timber products guaranteed for a period of 5 (five) years from date of invoice to be free from manufacturing defects, including any woodwork construction faults.
Thing you should know
If your product has natural solid timber components it will contain different colour shades and granular variations. It may also mature and darken over time. Being natural solid timber, it will also move to some degree over time. This is part of the character of good quality wooden furniture.
Remember to validate your warranty
To validate your warranty, you must return the warranty certificate together with proof of purchase to Eccentric within seven days of receipt of goods. Our address details can be found here.
This warranty does NOT cover:
Misuse of the product or damage due to varying circumstances;
- Damage due to acts of God
- Damage from exposure to extreme weather condition
- Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, scratches or burns
- Inappropriate use of any cleaning products
- Everyday wear and tear
- Minor movement in natural timber over time
- Damage to third party property
- Damage by carrier beyond first point of delivery by Eccentric or our nominated delivery service, be that the retailers premises or the nominated retailers depot or warehouse
Claiming under this warranty:
Contact the retail supplier with proof of purchase within 48 hours of purchase;
- All packaging must be kept for inspection
- Eccentric reserves the right to determine manufacturing faults and to repair or replace the item at their discretion
- The purchaser shall prepay all transportation charges for returned furniture to Eccentric for repairs or replacement unless Eccentric determines in writing to the contrary
- Country freight on returns will be the responsibility of the consumer
